MOREHEAD - Georgia Fern Crager, age 74, of Partin Street, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2006, at her residence.
She was born on November 25, 1931, in Clearfield, and was the daughter of Louie G. Crager and Mary Ethel Stewart Crager. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph David Crager and Louie Isadore Crager. She is survived by one sister, Norma Jane Cloyd of Clearfield, Kentucky; one brother, Fred T. Crager of Clearfield, Kentucky; 6 nieces; 4 nephews; several great nieces and nephews; cousins; and other family and friends.
She was a graduate of Breckinridge Training School, attended Morehead State and graduated from the Nazarene School of Nursing, Lexington, Kentucky. In 1990, Georgia retired as a registered nurse from Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Georgia was devoted to her family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, traveling and her summer visits to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She was a member of the Johnson Church of God, Cranston Road, and served on the Board of the Stewart Cemetery Association.

Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ben Furman officiating and a
eulogy by John Carter of Arlington, Virginia, a close friend of the family;
burial was in the Stewart Cemetery at Clearfield. Nieces served as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were nephews and great nieces and nephews.
