Order of Rowan Circuit Court
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of April, 1930, a petition was filed in the office of the Clerk of the Rowan Circuit Court, wherein Samantha Glover, Henry Glover, R. C. Littleton, Trustee, Mary Stewart, [sic] Stella Stewart Mart, Stanley Mart, Lottie Stewart May, Mort May, Morgan Stewart, Martha Stewart Barndollar, Arthur Barndollar, . Willie Stewart, Ethel Stewart Crager, Louie Crager, James Stewart, Fred Stewart and Arthur Stewart by his guardian, Mary Stewart, Charles Littleton, Martha Littleton, Harrison Littleton, Flora Littleton, R. C. Littleton, Ella B. Littleton, Milford Littleton, Gomes [sic] Littleton, Clara Littleton, William Littleton, Ruby Littleton Henritze and T. L. Henritze and T. L. Henritze were plaintiffs and Lavonia Stewart was defendant which petition prayed for the division of certain lands among the above named parties to the actions and thereafter at the June term, 1930 of the Rowan Circuit Courts, an order was entered, appointing E, E. Elam, WM. Cornett, and John Hamilton., commissioners to divide the lands, that thereafter the aforesaid commissioners made their report in open court to the Judge of the Rowan Circuit Court of their division of the land in accordance with the orders of said courts. The said report having laid over for exceptions and none being filed the same was approved and confirmed and Lester Hogges Commissioner of this court was directed to prepare and execute deeds of conveyance for land in accordance with the afore said commissioners’ report but for greater certainty the records and proceedings in said case are hereby referred to.
Now therefore in consideration of the promises set out above I, Lester Hogge, commissioner as aforesaid by virtue of the foregoing orders of division and the confirmation of the report of the Commissioners appointed to divide the land herein and the payment of the costs expended herein, do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey to Lavonia Stewart, their heirs and assigns forever the following described real estate situated in Rowan County and State of Kentucky and is bounded and described as follows: Lot No. 3. A certain tract or 'parcel of land adjoining Lot No. 2 in the division of the lands of Alex Stewart and bounded as follows: beginning at a stake on the south bank of Triplett Creek, it being the Northwest corner of Lot No. 2 ; thence S. 16 W. 2 ½ poles to a birch; S. 7 W. 8 4/5 poles to two ashes; S. 9 W. 71/2 poles to a sycamore; thence leaving the creek S 42 E. 31 poles to a set stone on the North side of the County road; thence S 49 ½ E. 118 poles to a hickory in the boundary line on top of the hill; thence N. 50 E 11 poles to a black oak; then down the hill N 49 ½ W 46 poles to a set stone at the road, in all 86 poles to the beginning, containing 21 acres, more or less.
To have and to hold said premises, with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Lavonia Stewart their heirs and assigns forever, as fully and completely as the said Lester Hogge, Commissioner of this Court by virtue of said order of division and the order of confirmation of division and the statutes made and provided for such cases, might or should convey the same.
In witness whereof the said Lester Hogge, Commissioner of the Rowan Circuit Court, has hereunto set his hand, this the 28 day of June, 1930.

COUNTY OF ROWAN SCT.
I, Chas E. Jennings, Clerk of the Rowan Circuit Court, do hereby certify that the foregoing deed of conveyance from Lester Hogge, Commissioner of the Rowan Circuit Court, to Lavonia Stewart was presented in open court by Lester Hogge commissioner as aforesaid, and signed and acknowledged by him before Hon. H. R. Prewitt, Judge of the Rowan Circuit Court, to be his act and deed and thereupon the said Judge signed, approved and confirmed said deed and ordered that same be certified by the clerk of this court to the clerk of the county court for records all of which is now done accordingly.
